Often enough I will be going to a new place. Everytime a brand new poem with a fresh stamp will be put in my suitcase.

Free Verse: Culture-istic Cuisine

Intro: This poem is about all the foods I've tasted in some of my destinations.

Culture-istic Cuisine

Travelling around the world sure brings up an appetite.
With each destination comes a new dish to taste.

I take a HUGE bite out of a pizza right from the oven.
With sweet, juicy pineapples
And cheese with stretching miles from the crust.
My mouth watering just remembering it.
In little Italy.

I spread butter on a fresh croissant
Steam rising.
Butter melting.
Oh so heavenly!
In beautiful France.

I unwrap a chocolate from its shiny foil.
Inhaling the aroma.
I take a bite and I find
Smooth chocolate in the centre.
Mmmmmmm!
In sweet Switzerland.
